There is no
doubt about the fact that with appropriately chosen affiliate programmes
ordinary individuals with limited computer and web authoring skills can
make some money on the Internet while they sleep.
One cannot believe though all of
the publicity, email and internet hype and propaganda about affiliate
programs generally. There is no such thing as an easy fix to
making you money. In fact the majority of affiliate, referral,
partner programmes that advertise very high earnings are simply
untruthful. The best advice I can give to you is that you make a
point of avoiding those like an outbreak of the plague.
Fortunately there are some good ones that I recommend below and I would
like to bring those to your attention. With a little effort and
some intuitive thinking coupled with a basic knowledge of IT and a
normal ability to learn matters IT generally, you stand an excellent
chance to bolster your overall earnings and improve your way of life.
I might add that affiliate programmes, referral programs and partner
programmes make an ideal and likely money making pastime for people who
are recently retired and who have some, if limited information
technology skills but, it is not for those people alone - anyone can.
If it even pays your telephone or other utility bills is it not great!
It can give you a great buzz
These programs can reward you financially for marketing and successfully
promoting the sale of goods and or services for the business community at
large. It is simply a matter of placing advertising in the shape of banner adds
or simply text adds on your own website. These coded links
that are obtained from the affiliate program, once your application to
join is accepted links to the sellers website. It is important that
you adequately market the product/s and or service/s on your website in
such a way that you will encourage the prospective buyer to go to the
sellers site with the intention of buying the product. In other
words successful affiliates need to be good at pre-selling (marketing) the
product or service before encouraging them (buyers) to go to the affiliate
programme web site to make the purchase.
Pre-selling involves trust in personal recommendations. Trust must be
earned. It does not pay to tell untruths or exaggerate. You
will quickly loose credibility by doing so.
Instead of making you some money, they are likely to help you lose friends
and maybe even relatives as you could end up selling them products not
really needed.
BEWARE!
never open those emails you receive with crazy subject headings offering
the opportunity to make thousands in a month. They are JUST NOT TRUE.
Also never open those seeking your URGENT ASSISTANCE and offering you
riches within weeks. Especially beware and never open those with mistyped
subject headings typed in capital letters that seem to come from African
countries from the likes of relatives of ex-politicians, army generals,
accountants and their wives, sons and daughters - they are a whole lot of
blarney and really major trouble. |
