PayPal in Ireland lets you send money to anyone with email. PayPal
is free for consumers and works seamlessly with your existing credit card
and checking account. You can settle debts, borrow cash, divide bills or
split expenses with friends all without going to an ATM or looking for your
checkbook. It is expected that 700-800 Employees will be hired from the
Greater Dublin Area by the end of 2005.

eBay in Ireland, the world's online marketplace, announced today that it has selected Dublin to be the location for PayPal’s European headquarters and eBay’s second European customer support centre. PayPal, an eBay company, is a leading online payment service used by buyers and sellers around the world both on eBay and off.
In its first facility outside the U.S., PayPal will establish headquarters in Dublin to support its expansion into Europe. The Dublin headquarters will host PayPal’s European customer service, fraud prevention, operations as well as the European management team.
